Open Ended Questions- An Acting Activity for All Ages

Looking for a fun way for you students to practice their acting skills? Try this neat acting exercise! It's a great way to start or end your class, workshop, or summer camp and it works with lots of different genres and age group.

Here's how it works! Have your dancer stand in a circle (socially distanced squares work great too!). One at a time, ask your dancers an open ended question like "How are you feeling today?" or "What did you do last night?". You can ask everyone the same question or mix it up! The dancer's job is to then respond by acting out their answer without words!

Optionally, you can have the other dancers in the class try to guess what the dancer is trying to portray.
